Farm Sample Data Recorder, Mole Valley Farmers

Job Description:

Are you passionate about agriculture, do you have experience working with farm animals? If so, we have a superb opportunity for someone who has an interest in on farm data recording.

This will be a permanent full-time position for a On Farm Sample & Data Recorder to join our friendly team where you will be based at our Lympstone Veterinary Practice, near Exeter.

As On Farm Sample & Data Recorder, you will be involved with:

• Visiting farms and talking with farmers
• Delivering TB testing
• Faecal egg counting
• Working with Nutritionists and Vets
• Cattle health assessment to include observation on locomotion, condition, and cleanliness
• Data recording, where the data will aid farmers to deliver to their milk contracts and use for nutritional and health advice on farm

Description:

To be a successful On Farm Sample & Data Recorder you will need to be:

• A confident communicator
• Independent as this position will require sole working on farm
• Experienced with farm animals
• Able to work in an emotionally demanding environment
• Focused with good attention to detail skills
