Come and join our NEW highly experienced kitchen team, at COAST. Situated on the Beachside Holiday Park, COAST is a brand-new Kitchen bar terrace which is part of the only remaining family run holiday park operating on the Towans in Hayle.

With uninterrupted views of St Ives bay, the restaurant boasts brand new facilities and a chance to help shape the future of our business.

As Commis Chef you will be responsible for preparing food stock and assisting experienced chefs in the delivery of our varied brand-new menu. With this we are also looking for your input into our delivery and menu.

In return we are offering you the chance to gain experience and learn new skills from our very experienced team.

We offer an online staff management system making it easy to track and schedule your hours around your other life commitments. A generous staff discount and we provide you with uniform and washing facilities meaning you never need to take this home.

Essential Qualities:

  • Some training in Culinary Arts: this can be undertaking a current course in either City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC/HND in professional cookery/foundation degree in culinary arts or have at least 1-2 years culinary experience.
  • Be able to work efficiently, have physical stamina, creative flair, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Strong communication, organisational skills with a strong team ethos.
