The Skills Programme offers funding support to develop and enhance skills and knowledge.
From traditional land-based skills through to leadership and management development, a wide range of training is available through the Skills Programme.
The programme aims to increase profitability in the agricultural sector by providing support for training in a wide range of topics which will help improve productivity and efficiency. Skills Programme training will help equip rural business with the skills and applied knowledge to cope with future and present demands in an increasingly challenging and competitive environment.
Funded through the Rural Development Programme for England, the Skills Programme is delivered in partnership with the Royal Agricultural College and Lantra led by Duchy College Rural Business School.
The programme is open to all and encourages individuals, businesses, trainers and training providers within farming and forestry to become involved and benefit from the funding for training this project is able to provide.
