A RDPE initiative delivered by the Rural Business School

The South West Layers and Game Bird Initiative offers funding for training events, technical conferences and flock health improvement activities for egg producers and Game Bird keepers throughout the south west .

The Rural Business School at Duchy College drives this unique three year project which is funded through the South West Health Livestock Initiative (SWHLI), part of the Rural Development Programme for England.

The project, which has been formulated in close association with the West Country Layers Association (WCLA), is a coordinated, structured and inclusive programme of animal health and welfare knowledge exchange and training support for the benefit of egg producers and game bird keepers across South West England.
