Position/Job Title: Project Manager

Matt Siggs joined the Rural Business School at Rosewarne in October 2010 as Project Manager for the Clear About Carbon project in which Duchy is a partner with Eden, Cornwall Development Company and Exeter University.

This path-finding European Social Fund project is tasked with investigating the level of "Carbon Literacy" in the agri-food sector in Cornwall and then research and development of the most appropriate methods of raising those levels.

Previously Matt was Project Manager for a start-up international agricultural company producing rice, beans and palm oil in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has travelled extensively worldwide investigating best practice in tropical agriculture, but also has personal experience of farm management in Devon and Kent.  In his spare time he enjoys surfing, mountain biking and pilot gig rowing for St Agnes.
