Facilities and Support

We have high quality modern facilities which enable access to learning for all and can offer support to meet your individual needs as a learner. We are fully committed to widening access to students by providing supportive services and environments.

We are able to meet your learning needs and be inclusive towards a wide range of circumstances which may influence your requirements. We are fully equipped with facilities and support for physical or sensory disabilities. We are also able to offer experienced support for dyslexia, emotional and behavioral differences and other learning preferences.

Many people may feel unsure about how to manage on the course in relation to their disability whatever that may be. We offer encouragement to all individuals and endeavour to provide advice, support, facilities and equipment suitable to all individual needs. Therefore we would encourage any learner with a specific need to get in touch with us to discuss how we can meet your requirements.

Quick Glance at our Facilities

The Agri-food building at our Stoke Climsland Campus is a new building and superbly equipped for disabled users. The building has wheel chair access and is purpose built to allow easy movement around the building for wheel chair users. Elsewhere on campus there is disabled access, including in the refectory and various lifts for wheelchair users to upper floor classrooms.

Spotlight on Rural Business School facilities at Rosewarne Campus
At our Rosewarne campus most of our buildings are ground floor only and provide easy access for wheel chair users. Doors are equipped with power assisted opening and lifts are available in multi-story buildings where required. Wheel chair users can easily use all facilities around campus, such as Choughs canteen, the student common room and the Learning Resource Centre. Wheel chair friendly computer points are available in several buildings or there is wi-fi which allows you use your own laptop to connect to the college network when on site. IT support is available in the Learning Resource Centre, where you can also find study aids for specific needs.

Vocational off-campus training

Many of our courses and events take place in external venues. All venues are vetted prior to the event to make sure they are fully functional for individual's needs.

We also provide on-line learning facilities and knowledge exchange hubs. These incorporate special accessibility features including the ability to change text size and use a range of sensory approaches including audio and video.  As part of Cornwall College Group we also operate these sites under e-safety and safeguarding of vulnerable people policy.
