Joining the Organic Revolution

The Organic Studies Centre
A major development in organic farming in the south-west occurred in 2001 with the establishment of the Organic Studies Centre at Duchy College, Rosewarne Campus, Camborne, Cornwall.
Working closely with the farming community, the Organic Studies Centre supports farmer innovation, facilitates and encourages the participation of farmers in on-farm research activities. The Centre has received significant support from the local farming community, many of whom have participated in the Centre’s various projects and activities. Although there is a regional focus to the project, the research team at the Centre also actively collaborate in national and international organic research programmes.
