Who is this course for?

The ABBE Level 4 Award in Renewables is a two unit award designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge in making recommendations for small scale Low and Zero Carbon Technologies (LZCTs). Whilst it is a stand alone qualification in its own right, it is also an ideal additional qualification for those who have achieved, or are considering undertaking, the ABBE Level 3 Certificate in Energy Advice (Home) (the EA(H) qualification). The EA(H), along with this small Renewables qualification, should prepare holders to be much closer to the requirements of the Government’s Green Deal Adviser role, when this comes in to force in 2012.

Entry requirements

To enrol on this course, candidates must have a pre entry interview, Home Energy Level 3 or be working towards this certificate.
