Summary

Building on Web Design and Authoring, Multimedia Web Design and Authoring will provide you with the knowledge to use industry standard software such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder to produce web pages with dynamic content.

You will gain an understanding of how to add sound, film and animation to your web pages, as well as an introduction to using Flash to create animations. You will also be introduced to Flash scripting to add enhanced interactivity. You will gain skills and techniques to stream media (video and audio), creating media rich web pages to enhance any business or personal website, whilst supporting the principles of good design practice.

Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone who would like to progress their web development skills specifically to provide media rich content and enhanced interactivity to their websites. It is ideal for individuals or businesses who wish to enhance their web presence, using industry standard hardware and software (Adobe CS5).

Multimedia Web Design and Authoring provides an ideal follow up to Introduction to Web Design and Web Design and Authoring. It is highly recommended that at least one of these courses should be attended before attempting Multimedia Web Design and Authoring, especially if you have no prior experience of Adobe software or web design.

Entry requirements

Candidates must have a basic to intermediate level of Web Design and Photoshop to enroll on this course.

During this course you will:
