Course Studied: Light Marine Engineering

During Year 10 I did work experience at Marine Track in Mylor. I was doing mainly general servicing and maintenance of engines. I then got offered a summer job with them and decided that's what I wanted to as a career. So now on the course I am at College four days a weak and I work at Marine Track one day week. Once I finish the two year apprenticeship I will get a job with them full-time.
I really enjoyed the practical aspect of the course and the tutors and the students were all really friendly and easy to get on with. There are lots of activities planned outside of the College e.g. the day out at Culdrose.
