Course Studied: Light Marine Engineering NVQ
I originally come from Italy, where I studied engineering 12 years ago. When I came to England I decided I wanted to pursue my first passion again and so enrolled at Falmouth Marine School.
I have really enjoyed the course, especially working on the engines and the components side. The course has given me a full 360 degrees view of the marine industry.
During the course I completed a week’s work experience at a company called Ex Leisure and my boss was impressed with the number of activities I could perform. I asked him if I could come back later in the year, to help improve my skills further and he offered me a full-time position on completion of my course. I am due to start there in July.
