BEING A BOATBUILDING STUDENT
At Falmouth Marine School we believe the best way to learn boatbuilding techniques is to undertake real hands-on experience. The majority of our boatbuilding programmes and assessments are carried out in a practical way.
Our Boatbuilding students often have the opportunity to test their skills and craftsmanship on something other than boats. A few years back students on the Traditional Boatbuilding course built two brand new sweep oars for the Mount's Bay Lugger Association, as a thank you for all the help they received over the one-year course.
