WELCOME FROM THE HEAD OF COLLEGE
At Falmouth Marine School we specialise in Boatbuilding, Leisure & Watersports, Marine Engineering and Marine Science. We are dedicated to delivering excellent marine related courses which will lead to employment or progression to further study. As a result of our specialisation our FE and university-level courses attract students from a wide age range across the UK.
As a result of our work with employers and universities, we have well equipped marine-biology laboratories, marine-engineering workshops and excellent access to the sea for activities such as diving, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and more.
At Falmouth Marine School you will be treated as an individual and provided with excellent personal support from all our staff, who will support you throughout your time with us.
Our Staff
Our tutors combine industry experience with academic expertise and are active in their field through research and personal interest in their subjects. We seek to attract the best staff with up-to-date industry experience and qualifications.
New activities
Our inspirational activity programmes provide access to qualifications such as diving, sailing and power boating as part of the course of study.
Falmouth Marine School Research (FMSR) and Industry
Our research unit allows students to participate in original research and gain a greater understanding of the marine systems they intend to work in. It actively develops links with other organisations. Our Annual Industry Day held every December puts students in contact with employers and promotes their chances of employment in the field of their choice.
