The Cornwall College Group has teamed up with the Moor and Coastal Partnership Trust to help raise aspirations and inspire generations in North Cornwall.
The on-going project that has expanded since trials last year sees Cornwall College working closely with the cooperative education trust which includes Sir James Smith’s Community School and eight primary schools including Port Isaac, Camelford and Boscastle.
This year Cornwall College are supporting the Trust by working with them to organise a ground-breaking event that will engage, challenge and inform pupils. The Raising Aspirations day will be held at the Royal Cornwall Showground exhibition hall on Tuesday 25th March and will involve students from year’s five to ten and their parents.
There is a timetable of events planned for the day with student workshops taking place from 9.30am until 2.30pm. From 4pm-5.30pm Cornwall College Business will host a networking event for the companies involved in the day sessions.
Cornwall College will hold their information event from 5.00pm until 7pm.
The Information Event at the Pavilion at the Royal Cornwall Showground will last for two hours and showcase all that The Cornwall College Group has to offer including representatives from; Cornwall College, Duchy College, Falmouth Marine School and Cornwall College Business.
