Duchy College Hosts Annual Summer Ball

On Tuesday staff and students celebrated the end of the academic year in style at the Duchy College Stoke Climsland annual summer ball. This year's theme for the event was Moulin Rouge, with everyone turning out in all their finery.

Over 450 guests enjoyed a Moulin Rouge style cabaret, performed by staff members in a giant marquee on the college grounds. A live band rounded off the evening's entertainment.   

Ciaran Ryder, Senior Warden, commented on the event: "The evening was a huge success. I would like to thank everyone involved, especially the staff who made the cabaret show exceptional. The summer ball is the biggest annual event that we hold on campus and is something the students look forward to each year. "

Dave Linnell OBE, Principal of Cornwall College, said: "It is fantastic that all the students celebrate their achievements by letting their hair down with this amazing event. I would like to thank everyone involved for making this event memorable, something the students will look back on in future years."
