OUR CAMPUS SITES
Duchy College prides itself on being one of the leading landbased colleges in the country, and is based on two main campus sites within Cornwall. Stoke Climsland in the east which is 25 minutes outside of Plymouth, and Rosewarne in the west just outside of Camborne.
In addition to the two main sites we also have a smaller site at Wadebridge, located on the Royal Cornwall Showground it offers many subjects including creative crafts, but mainly concentrates on agriculture.
Rosewarne
The Rosewarne campus is situated on the site of the former Ministry of Agriculture horticultural experimental station, and facilities spread to approximately 47 hectares.
There is a protected cropping unit, substantial nursery stock, production unit, garden centre, floristry unit, landbased engineering workshops, science laboratories, veterinary nursing facilities, learning support centre, computer suites and cafeteria.
The grounds provide an excellent horticultural resource and there are national plant collections on site. The college is fast building a reputation for landscaping and garden design in the region.
Our main course areas are Agriculture, Animal Care, Countryside, Floristry, Horticulture, Land-based Engineering and Veterinary Nursing.

Stoke Climsland
Stoke Climsland which is the larger of the two campuses, offers residential facilities and is able to accommodate up to 100 students on site. With a broad base of subject areas ranging from Agriculture, Animal Care, Countryside & Gamekeeping and Equine Studies, to Outdoor Pursuits, Public Services, Sport, Childcare and Forest School; the campus offers students a unique atmosphere and friendly work environment.
Set in acres of rolling countryside the campus really lends itself to landbased activities, and allows students freedom to maximise their use of the facilities including, 10 metre climbing tower, sports pitches, sports hall, learning resource centre, fully equipped gym, Sam's refectory and free broadband internet access.
