Hi, I’m Joe, and I’m the elected President of Cornwall College Students’ Union (CCSU).
CCSU exists to represent your voice at every level in the College and to make sure you have a fantastic time whilst you are a student with us.
Whether you are studying A-Levels, a foundation degree, or working towards a BTEC National Diploma - you are a member of the Students’ Union.
Every campus has a team of elected student officers who will be working hard all year, from organising parties to running campaigns, and you have plenty of chances to get involved.
Plus, here at Cornwall College your voice is louder than ever, all classes have an elected representative who gets to feedback straight to the President and the local campus teams. The Students’ Union is one of the best things about Cornwall College and you have the power to determine what it’s doing.
There is something for everyone, so don’t hesitate to join in!
Things To Do
There will be a whole host of parties, campaigns, social and sporting events for you to get involved in. The parties have reached legendary status, the campaigns are hard-hitting and the sporting events, well, how many colleges do you know where you can enter the Beach Olympics? Make the most of your time by accessing everything we have to offer you (most of it is free!).
The Elections
The CCSU elections are the biggest date on the Students’ Union calendar. The elections run for a week in the Spring Term, giving you the chance to choose exactly who represents you on your campus. Better still, you get to elect a full-time sabbatical student union president, who will be fighting your corner at a local, regional and national level, making sure you always get the best deal. Every student can vote, and every student can stand for election – so what are you waiting for?
