SPORT AND RECREATION FACILITIES
Our Rosewarne campus has indoor and outdoor sports area for use by students. The outdoor pitch is used for rugby, football, volleyball and cricket and the indoor hall can accommodate most indoor activities including facilities for badminton and table tennis. Students wishing to are also able to use the extensive range of sporting facilities on the nearby Cornwall College Camborne campus, which include a brand new artificial turf floodlit football pitch.
Due to the large Sport and Leisure department, our Stoke Climsland campus boasts an 11 metre climbing tower, orienteering course, assault course, football pitch, rugby pitch, hockey pitch, sports hall with facilities for a wide range of indoor activities, gym, canoeing lake, Huxley all weather putting green, golf driving range and a British Eventing Into Cross Country Course.
All Duchy students are encouraged to take part in sporting activities on Wednesday afternoons, and many are part of our sports teams such as boys and girls football and rugby. Sports fixtures are often held on these afternoons with crowds of (less active!) spectators supporting the Duchy teams.
