Leeds United and their manager, Neil Warnock, have spent a week of their pre-season training at Duchy College's Stoke Climsland campus in preparation for the next football season.

This is not the first time that former Plymouth Argyle boss Neil Warnock has used the facilities at Duchy College for a pre-season training camp; he has previously brought Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers to train on the grounds at Stoke Climsland, Callington.

The blazing sun greeted over 400 travelling Leeds United fans to the College on Tuesday following an open invitation from manager Neil Warnock to watch the training session. Fans turned out in force to welcome the team and watch as they were put through their paces in the soaring sun.

Neil Warnock commented about the fantastic turnout of fans: "People said you've not seen anything until you've seen what Leeds fans are like and I could tell talking to them at Farsley last week that a lot were going to come down for the week. I promised good weather and we've come up trumps so it's a good start to the season!"

Andrew Counsell, Head of Duchy College said: "It is great that Neil brings his team down to the South West year on year to use the excellent facilities that Duchy College has to offer. We are delighted that we can provide the facilities and environment for the team to train for the coming season. Duchy College run a football development centre and elite sports programme, promoting excellence in academic achievement and sporting performance, using the international expertise within the College."
