ENTERPRISE AND EMPLOYABILITY
At Cornwall College we aim to provide university courses that help you obtain a job as soon as possible on graduation.
Our courses are designed with employers to ensure you graduate with the skills and experience that they look for in their employees, so graduate with Cornwall College and hit the workplace running!
What you study on your chosen programme will be relevant to the workplace and the industry it prepares you to work in.
Lecturers at Cornwall College are industry professionals, often with years of experience working in the field in which they are now teaching.
The College has 30 years of experience providing degree-level courses and thousands of students have graduated with Cornwall College and gone on to lead successful careers in a wide range of industries.
Responding to demands from employers and in conjunction with the international consulting company Deloitte, we have developed a module in Personal and Employability Skills Development that features in all of our foundation degrees.
The learning focuses on developing the personal skills, attitudes and behaviours that help people to attain and succeed in employment. The module is delivered alongside your main programme of study so that the learning can be directly related to the area of employment that you are aspiring to.
An advantage of studying for a degree at a college, as opposed to a university, is that you will be taught in small groups and receive excellent one-to-one support from your tutor and lecturers.
All our foundation degrees are approved by Plymouth University.
