“A few years ago I went on a parenting programme to find out more about communicating and caring for children with different behaviours and disabilities as I have a child who is partially deaf. The programme really inspired me and made me want to work with them and get the necessary qualifications to succeed. I studied the NVQ 2 & 3 and they have both been a fantastic experience and really brought me out of myself. The staff were very supportive and I was able to study and work and look after my family at the same time. I now work as a classroom assistant at a pre-school in Wadebridge and would like to continue my study to learn more about child psychology and behaviour.”
