ACCOMMODATION
Where you live is central to your College life. You need to ensure you are going to be happy in your surroundings. A key factor is the cost of the accommodation - therefore you need to look closely at how much you can afford before you start looking. We are always concerned about the health, safety and welfare of all students.
We would therefore strongly advise our younger students (those under 18) to choose a Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal option (BBEM). By choosing BBEM we can be assured (provided the student/parent/landlady/landlord let us know) that they can be contacted and have a mature adult on hand to help should any emergency arise.
This is particularly necessary overnight and/or at the weekends. Student accommodation can be in a family or home environment, with meals provided at set times each day. Alternatively you may prefer self-catering in shared houses or flats.
