Cornwall College Newquay is a young and vibrant campus site specialising in animal based courses. Ideally located next to Newquay Zoo you will benefit from our excellent links with industry, gain work experience out in the field and take part in research.
We offer the Animal Management National Diploma and the Animal Management National Award for those who are 16 and over and would like first hand experience of observing animals in their natural habitats and caring for them in captivity.
Our range of foundation degrees includes: Zoological Conservation, Applied Ecology, Marine Aquaculture, Animal Science, Wildlife Education and Media, Surf Science and Technology and Marine Conservation. All our foundation degrees are designed with industry experts, to give you the best chance of gaining a job at the end of your study.
The BSc (Hons) Applied Zoology is studied part-time over two years. So it's ideal if you have work commitments, but would like to gain a BSc and not leave the county!
Our aim is to make your time at college an experience you will never forget and we pride ourselves in helping you every step of the way. We will give you individual support in everything you do and our expert lecturers are always on hand to offer advice and guidance when you need it.
