Based in a new, purpose built 3-storey complex, the department for Hair, Beauty & Holistic Therapies has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
The department specialises in training you for careers within the hair and beauty industries, whether that will be working in a high street salon, your own business or related fields such as TV and Film Make-up.
The department is run by professional stylists and practitioners with a passion for their chosen field, you will benefit not only from this wealth of experience and depth of talent, but also from studying in a dynamic supportive environment where innovation and creativity is actively encouraged.
Practical experience is also a key ingredient of our students success. The department boasts two commercial salons as well as a nail bar, tanning salon and a range of beauty suites. All open to the public, this interaction with paying customers gives students invaluable experience of dealing with real life situations, and a chance to perfect the skills learnt in lectures.
