CAMBORNE LEARNING CENTRE
The Learning Centre is based on two floors of the Trelawney Building. One floor is designed to specifically support the needs of HE students and the other FE students. Both floors have all the resources needed for students to work on assignments, conduct research and improve study skills.
In addition to computers and a comprehensive range of resources, including books, DVDs and journals, the Learning Centre is staffed by a team of friendly and experienced staff. Not only can the team help students find the information they are looking for - either on the shelves or online - but the wide range of skills means that there will be someone available to help with:
- Computer Skills - including general computer literacy; Microsoft Office 2010; Photoshop; Mind Genius; Read Write Gold and more
- Online Research - including internet searching; Moodle; University of Plymouth Portal; Primo and more
- Assignment Support - including research skills; proofreading; referencing; bibliographies; avoiding plagiarism; portfolio building and more

During the holidays the opening hours are 9.00am-4.30pm Monday-Friday.
Other Services
Other services available in the Learning Centre include printing, photocopying, scanning, binding and laminating. Please ask for details. The Learning Centre also sells a small range of equipment and stationery.
