Duchy achieves double Beacon Award success!
Students quickly learn how to wash and iron on the army preparation course!
Duchy College has scooped two nationally recognised accolades in the form of Beacon Awards, which are designed to promote the interdependence of further education and business.
The two awards were for the Army Preparation Course based at Duchy and run in conjunction with the Army, and The Learning & Skills Council Award for College Engagement with Employers: awarded for Herd Health Plans.
Overall, Cornwall College of which Duchy College is a part, won three awards, the third being The NEBOSH Award for Teaching Programmes in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management.
