Marjorie Blamey to Officially Open Art Exhibition
The 4th annual Saltash Community Arts and Craft May Fair Exhibition will be opened by local world renowned artist, Marjorie Blamey with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The exhibition will be open to the public throughout the May Fair weekend. Cornwall College Saltash will be hosting the event with all the proceeds being donated to the Mount Edgcumbe Hospice.
The public will be able to enjoy hundreds of paintings on display produced by local artists and students from the College. There will also be a range of craft stalls on display.
Over the weekend, there will be various activities including 'Choose your favourite painting', and 'Guess the weight of the cake' competition. There will also be a raffle with the prizes donated by local businesses. Opening times of the Exhibition: Saturday 1st May : 10:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday 2nd May : 12noon - 5:00pm, Monday 3rd May : 10:00am - 3:00pm. Entrance is free, although donations are welcome.
