Saltash Students Support Local Artist
Artwork produced by staff and students from Cornwall College Saltash has been displayed in an exhibition which was put on by College lecturer and locally renowned artist Charlie O'Sullivan.
The work has been displayed at the Duchy Square Centre for Creativity based in Princetown. The exhibition, called Unravelling Thoughts, comprised of work made up from current staff and former students from the Church Road based campus in Saltash.
Gilly Hayles, Programme Manager for Art and Design at the College, who herself had work on display said: “It’s been great to be able to support Charlie in this exhibition and for our students, both past and present, to be able to put their work on display to the public.”
Dave Linnell, Principal of Cornwall College added: “The quality of the work produced by the staff and students at Saltash has been magnificent. It has proved to be a wonderful opportunity for them to work with respected artists and showcase their work.”
The College has a wide variety of art and design courses and is offering a new Access to Higher Education Diploma in Art & Design from the end of September. For more information on Art & Design and other courses at Cornwall College call 0845 22 32 567.
