Fun Day Success

Around 150 people came along to the Saltash College Fun Day, to celebrate the start of the new college year.
They enjoyed a great afternoon, with all sorts of fun activities including live music, a treasure hunt, bouncy castle, hair air-spraying, virtual make-overs, face-painting, continental cafe, barbeque, a beer tent and more. People also got the chance to have a go at willow art and pottery.
Perhaps the highlight of the day for the smaller visitors was helping pottery tutor, Sally Alexander, create a 4ft Welsh Dragon (called Andrew!). Children milled around 'Andrew' all day, helping to build him, creating a tail for him, and generally enjoying getting their hands dirty and getting stuck in!
