New Band Play at Fun Day
One of the high spots of the forthcoming Saltash College Fun Day will be a special guest appearance by new Welsh band, Free Peace Sweet. Fresh from a successful tour that culminated in a support gig with Hear' Say at the prestigious BBC Buzz in the Bay Festival (at Cardiff Bay), they are currently working on their debut album to support their new single 'Last Summer'.
Modelling themselves on the great Welsh rock tradition exemplified by the Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Catatonia and Super Fury Animals, their music is a vibrant, exciting style of rock that will surely send them to the heights of achievement in the rock hall of fame.
See them play live at Saltash College's Fun Day on Saturday 7th September from 1.00p.m, at the college's Church Road site.
