Well, it IS summer!
Jackie Oakes, Joy Welsh and Mark Delf are determined to enjoy the barbecue - even if it is raining!
Saltash College's Health Studies students and staff enjoyed a wet weekend away recently - and were determined to have a barbecue no matter what! Umbrellas, raincoats and wellies were out in force as the group 'enjoyed' their burgers and hot dogs in the rain.
Programme Manager, Mark Delf said, "We went camping on a field trip to Newquay and the Eden Project during a weekend of hurricanes and tropical rainstorms, to undertake fieldwork for health promotion (Safety in the Sun!) and to conduct a water quality analysis. Despite the weather, we all had a great time!".
