Adding a Qualification to Short Courses and CPD Events
Over 350 learners have now gained a qualification from their short course and CPD training carried out at Duchy College on courses run through the Rural Business School.
The learners have benefitted by gaining a recognised qualification from Edexcel which is a very useful addition to their CV.
Recent examples of courses which have been run with the added qualification are poultry pest and rodent control, woodland horse-logging and bee-keeping. Other courses are in the pipeline.
Sylvie Pearson, development coordinator for this qualification commented, “This award is very flexible and particularly useful to those learners seeking to add a more formal qualification to their short course learning and skills development”
