Becky Pryor wins Hairdressing Student of the Year Award

Colin Breed, MP and Sue Hooper, Deputy Mayor of Saltash, joins in with Saltash College ?Awards Ceremony' celebrations, held at St Mellion, Golf and Country club on Wednesday 2nd July.

Colin Breed presented certificates to over 150 students for completing their course. Cups and plaques were also presented as ‘Special Awards' in recognition for students of outstanding achievements. ‘Special Awards' included ‘Student of the year' and the most ‘Outstanding student' within specialised course areas - Access to higher education courses, Art and Design, Business Administration, Beauty Therapy, Childcare and Early Years, Computing, Foundation studies, Hairdressing and Health and Social Care.

Over 400 people attended the ceremony, including family and friends. Steve Warnes, Head of Saltash College comments, “The students have worked very hard to receive the awards and we at are very proud of them.”

Sue Hooper closes the Awards Ceremony, “Saltash College has an out-standing and excellent track record in a wide range of vocational courses. Learning is a life long progress and its great seeing successes of the students here at Saltash College being celebrated.”
