St Austell College, Investors in Careers for the third time!
St Austell College has again been successful in reaccredidation for Investors in Careers, evidence that the college has a firm commitment to providing high quality careers information and guidance for its students.
The Investor in Careers award is managed by Connexions Cornwall and Devon and is a quality standard for the management of careers education in primary and secondary schools and F.E. colleges. The award is given based on four standards - Commitment, Organisation, Delivery and Evaluation.
Having first received the award in 1996 St Austell College has continued to build on and improve its provision. Glynis Bunt, Careers Information Officer said, “It’s been great to receive the award again and I’d like to thank all those who participated in the reassessment. It’s the people at the college that make an achievement like this possible, the tutors and lecturers and their commitment to helping our students make the right choices for the future”.
St Austell College and Saltash College are the latest colleges within the Cornwall College Group to receive the Investors In Careers award.
