With only just under a month until the new academic term commences, youngsters around Cornwall are waiting patiently for their exam results.

Cornwall College is looking forward to the 16th August when the students they have taught receive their A-level results and a week later they are also available to help with GCSE results on 23rd August. Campuses at Camborne, Newquay, Saltash and St Austell will be staffed to offer advice and guidance to any GCSE student who phones the GCSE results hotline on 0845 22 32 567.

Cornwall College campuses will be open as usual 9am-5pm during the results week, in addition the campuses at St Austell, Saltash and Camborne will also be holding drop-in days (August 23rd and 24th) to give prospective students the chance to get the advice they need for their future career and sign up for courses starting this September.

The College will be open on Thursday 23rd between 9am and 7pm and Friday 24th from 9am - 4.30pm and will provide the perfect opportunity for young people to come along, meet staff and discuss opportunities within the College.

At Cornwall College there are opportunities to study an entry-level course right up to degrees and with extended diplomas being equivalent to three A-levels this can be an alternative route to university.
