GCSE drop-in days at Saltash
Cornwall College Saltash will be holding drop-in days this month (August 23rd and 24th) to give prospective students the opportunity to get the advice necessary for their future career and the chance to sign up there and then for courses starting in September.
The College will be open on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th August between 9am and 7pm. Coinciding with GCSE results day it will provide the perfect opportunity for young people to come along, meet staff and discuss opportunities within the College.
Those looking to study at Saltash can choose from a wide range of courses in areas including Art and Design, Beauty, Business and IT, Childcare, Construction, Hairdressing, Health and Social Care, Professional Cookery, Public Services and Travel and Tourism.
New for this September, and bringing with it brand new facilities and learning areas, will be Carpentry which will be available to study on a full-time course or via an Apprenticeship route.
Head of Faculty at Saltash, Peter Castell said: “We would advise those who are still looking into their options for study this September to come along and find out about how much we can offer at Cornwall College Saltash. We have fantastic facilities and a wide range of courses to suit all levels and abilities.”
There is still time to apply for courses starting this September with a limited number of places available on a variety of courses.
The College also offers a wide range of training via an Apprenticeship in areas such as construction, hair and beauty, business and IT and cookery.
