Innovation & Enterprise conference at Cornwall College

Cornwall College will be the host of a free Innovation & Enterprise conference on Tuesday 17th April from 9am to 4pm in the Penhaligon building at the Camborne campus giving members of the public and Business Enterprise degree students the chance to listen to industry experts talk about topics including sustainability, innovation and design, and competitive advantage.
Guest speakers include Matthew Draycott - entrepreneur and lecturer, Dr. Colin Jones - senior lecturer at University of Tasmania, Simon Brown - Director of Southampton University Business School.
The enterprise conference has been organised by the degree students at Camborne as part of their course. At the start of the academic year the students set up their own ‘mini-business' and operate every aspect of it as part of their course - ‘Cornish Big Ideas' is the name of the company and they were responsible for the organising of the 36 hour charity lecture that took place in February on campus.
Having the chance to listen to industry experts, both on a national and international level, is a great opportunity for anyone who has an interest in or works in businesses across the county.
