THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING (SET)
The School offers a wide range of qualifications designed to provide opportunities to build on current knowledge, gain qualifications and improve employment prospects. We offer programmes covering all aspects of post-compulsory education as well as courses for Teaching Assistants in the school sector.

- Part-time qualifications for teachers of adult literacy and numeracy at levels 2, 3 and 4
- Part-time City & Guilds Introductory Teaching qualifications
- Part-time and full-time University of Plymouth Certificate in Education / Post-Graduate Certificate in Education qualifications for the 16+ age group, leading to Qualified Teacher of Learning and Skills status
- Part-time City & Guilds Assessor Awards A1 and V1
- Part-time Foundation and Bachelors Degree programmes in Education and Training, with specialist options in supporting blended learning and e-learning
- Modules of the University of Plymouth Integrated Masters programme in Education
- Part-time NVQ Teaching Assistant qualifications at levels 2 and 3
- Part-time University of Plymouth Foundation Degree for Teaching Assistants
- A Part-time OCR Diploma in Assessing & Teaching Learners with Specific Learning Difficulties
