The College's Single Equality Scheme (SES) sets out the policy of the College and the actions that the College is taking to develop and progress equality and diversity in service delivery and employment practice. The Equality Scheme demonstrates the way in which the College will:
Meet public and moral duties
Involve and consult with appropriate stakeholders
Gather information which is relevant and use it to review the implementation of the schemes objectives
Assess the impact of current and future service functions and policies on equality and diversity
Implement the actions as stated in the scheme
The current SES was agreed for a three year period in 2012 and runs to 2015.

An annually updated Equality and Diversity Action Plan forms part of the SES and sets out the College’s priorities for the current year. It sets out the priorities of the College’s Equality and Diversity Co-ordinator and is regularly monitored for progress by the College’s Equality and Diversity Committee. All action points have an identified and appropriate member of staff assigned to ensure that progress is made.
