Course Studied: Marine Biology & Ecology National Diploma Level 3
I found out about the course when the College visited my school, Roseland School. I'd always been interested in marine biology and this is the only course in Cornwall that is all about marine biology. There is quite a bit of work but the structure of the course is brilliant and the atmosphere in the College, quite relaxed so you do get it all done. There is a real mixture of outdoor learning and classroom lessons so it's never routine. As it's a small college I've met lots of people both from my own course and from other courses, which has been really interesting. Everyone here is studying something marine so we all have that in common which has been great. I've learnt lots about all aspects of the marine industry and made some great friends. I'd like to go on to James Kirk University in Australia to study a degree in marine biology once I finish the course. Am going there in December to check it out, but already know I'm going to love it!
